One of my colleagues, a boy 15 years younger than me, said that I was his soul mate. He can talk to few people, but with me he can talk about anything and tell me everything. I have a husband and I don't know how much I can fit into such a close friendship. He often writes to me on messenger to tell me what he is doing. He also says I'm pretty. Would you guys message and talk to him outside of work?

Tell him you’re flattered, and you think he’s sweet but remind him you’re a married woman, just take on the motherly role as he’s probably letting lust cloud his judgment of what his genuine intentions are…. A mother figure he can talk to about his troubles and can guide him when he’s stuck, men we don’t really tend to have a lot of female friends that we don’t end up messing up because of lust anyway that’s my advice

I used to have a friend like that. I met her when she was 18 and I was about 46. In this case, SHE had the steady and told ME everything. We're still good friends, today. We just don't talk as much as we did when we first started doing so. I always considered her to be the little sister I never had..
