Guys, what do you think?

Why did a guy tell his married female friend not to break up with him after a kiss, but he broke up with her a few days later without a word? They haven't seen each other in the same group of friends since. If they see each other they just say hello and move on.

Do you think she should start talking to him like before or keep this distance?

Could this be because he doesn't want to be friends but wants to be more and avoids her?
