I’ve started to worry about the guy I like, is this normal?

I worry that he might be having a tough time at work or that people will try to make things difficult, I like him a lot and want him to be ok, is it weird to worry?

As far as I can tell he’s done nothing wrong but a manager is wanting something I did to be a mark against me and others have said it shouldn’t be. I worry that they may use him potentially liking me to cause issues.
