Help Why My Car Isn't Turning On? Is It Overheated Or The Battery Turned Off Help?

The car was fine yesterday but I was lazy and didn’t fill it up with gas it’s so low like right where the red empty line is at. I barley have enough gas just to drive today to the corner to fill up the tank of gas. But I can’t turn it on today. It shows a battery symbol then a liquid symbol like a cup dripping liquid. What does that mean? Is it the anti freeze? I called triple A to come help fix the battery but I hope my car still turns on so I drive to put gas and buy anti freeze. It’s super hot and there’s no trees so my car is out in the heat all morning.

That sounds like the low oil light. Do NOT try to start the car. Check your oil, or let AAA do it. Starting the car when you are very low on oil can do serious damage. Just wait for AAA to get there.

In the meantime look for wet spots under the car. If it's low on oil or anti-freeze, you want to find out the reason, because you don't want it to happen again. It might be your fault - like you went too long without checking your oil and it got too low. Or there might be something wrong with the car causing it to get low. Looking under the car for wet spots is the first and easiest thing to check.

If you don't know how to check the oil or anti-freeze, ask the AAA guy. Or ask a friend, or someone on here. It's hard for someone here to explain though because we only have words and can't point to things.

Check your oil, check your antifreeze, Your car probably has a sensor that doesn't allow it to start if you have a low oil level or a low coolant level

Well the AAA guy is there, have him show you how to open the hood. Have him show you how to check your antifreeze, have him show you how to check your oil.

When you turn the key, does the engine turn over, does it go. It just doesn't start? He may have to put gas in also

He can put gas for me? I thought u had go to the gas station to put Gas? Does he carry anti freeze or I need buy it alone at the store?

It may not turn over because you have low coolant or because you have low oil. It's a good possibility he has a 5 gallon can of gas, I would assume they have antifreeze with them

The engine should turn over whether there's gas in it or not. It just won't start if there's no gas

That sounds like the low oil light. Check your engine oil, may have a low oil safety shutoff

Sounds like ur oil is low probably needs to be changed
