Why was my coworker right?

He said when guests come in the store immediately looking around everywhere its cuz theyre looking for some way to fuck up someones life. Aka they're gonna be annoying.

At first i was skeptical.

Minutes later i had to ring them up and they were acting like idiots.

He was right.

I think its great he has such an acute sense. When i see someone looking around i porbably feel like i have to be extra attentive.. In fact this has occurrd many times at this job. I get the sense someone needs ectra attention and patience and then they unleash the karen or asshole attitude on me and i stand corrected... I should have had my blank poker face on the whole time. Actually that happens with people in general. Like my new boss. During the initial meetings with him i thought wow he's so attentive and nice and i was impressed only to find out after being hired that he's a phony jerk and i hate being near him etc.
