Years have gone by and he continues to message me (despite me ignoring him) just to tell me he's not married yet. Why?

I met him almost 4 years ago. I stopped talking to him the third month of knowing him because I found out he has a girlfriend and a son with one of his ex's. We never dated and he was never disrespectful. It was always respectful and he made a genuine effort to get to know me and encourage in whatever I wanted to achieve. Anyways, I cut him off completely but he continued to reach out just to tell me he's not married and to ask me if I'm dating anyone or if I'm married. I always confront him about his girlfriend and how he shouldn't be talking to me but he always tells me the same thing... I'm not married.

What do you mean why? He's keeping you warm hoping you change your mind. Have you flat out told him to not contact you?

All the time. I’ve blocked him too but he always seems to find a new number to reach out to me. I told him recently that I’m already with someone (I’m not but I said it in hopes he moves on for good). Hopefully he stops.
