Why do guys start this ego game?

I have a really good friend whom I like. We had been flirting with each other for the last 2 months. We never had this issue of texting or calling first but recently he stared his ego game. Like not texting first and reply only when I start. Also not calling untill its me asking. Why is he doing so? It really hurts. I said i like him he said he likes me too but i guess he was joking with me..

Could be different reasons. He could have another girl he’s seeing. He could be bored or working. Or he wants you to pursue him.

Make him pursue you. I know this will be difficult but don’t contact him first. Hold out as long as you can without contacting him. If he really likes you, he will start worrying on his end what you are doing and what you are up to. He will get frustrated and then reach out. Once he does that, you text him with one word or two replies that imply only slight interest but enough to keep him texting. Sometimes it’s better to be the one being pursued than the one doing the pursuing.

yes right. also i am tired of pursuing people on my end. should i stop sending snaps to him? because he is continuing sending them.

I think you could still send the snaps just cut back on the number you send and the frequency. Make him more antsy for you.
