Why would a guy who clearly likes me not view my Snapchat stories?

I’ve been talking to this guy for a while now and we’re each other’s #1 Snapchat best friend and he’s made it very clear that he likes me. We flirt and talk, he responds almost immediately, etc. But he never views my Snapchat stories which I don’t understand. Is he just more interested in snapping me than opening my stories or does he maybe not watch stories in general? Or is he maybe actually not interested and/or muted my story?
