Is it normal for a co-worker to get jealously angry over me after randomly accusing me of talking to another guy on the phone?

He passed by while i was using my phone and he got mad.

He also got into angry rage because I ignored him one time. The other guys around us didn't do anything.

You can be sure that he likes you a lot if he hasn’t been angry when other people are on the phone. And he wasn’t exactly angry, he got his feeling hurt cause he thought you don’t like him back since you pay more attention on your phone than on him. And he didn’t know how to cope with that pain.

If you don’t want him to chase you, just casually mention you have a boyfriend to others when he is around (even if you don’t), like “Oh I will hang out with my boyfriend this weekend”. He might act strange for a few weeks but will eventually be normal around you, so you won’t have to suffer the awkwardness.

If you like him back, just make sure you are “approachable”, pay him enough attention when he is around, smile and casually look at him occasionally. He will make a move and ask you out sooner or later as long as you don’t shut the door.

It's not normal. The dude probably has a crush on you or something. It's only normal if he's your boyfriend then the jealously makes a little sense but he's not 🤷‍♂️
