Why would an ex stalk my whatsapp online activity but not reach out to me?

I noticed that he comes online usually at times when I’m online. He comes online often 13:45 pm. Also when I’m online he stays online longer than normal.

I used to do this with my ex for me it was a sense of knowing if they were online it meant they were alive and nothing happened to them probably weird I did that though

Yes and no. We kind of had an off and on again relationship/ friendship. Sometimes I would end things and other times he ended things with me. Now he doesn't have Whatsapp so I can no longer check if he is online or not.

I see where you're coming from, but I don't think he'll be on it just to appear online and for you to see it, it could be that he specifically chose to be active there to bother you, via talking to someone

He isn’t there much in the evening and late night. When me and him where chtting we often talked arounf 10pm and 11pm and even past that. He liked to talk to me after 10pm. No he’s often online after 4pm when I’m often online after work. Or during my coffee break at work around 13:35pm or 14:45pm
