I would see this as a red flag. Someone that tells others how and what to wear is not going to be a good match for anyone. Now, I dress pretty conservative most of the time. I have not once heard my fiancé even mention that I should dress another way.

Want to know why? Because he has respect. This guy sounds immature and not ready for a relationship. You can be in control of another person. He just doesn't sound like a good fit for you. I would move on because this will not change.
