I think If a guy is sure you are actually a female, which is hard to prove these days after all the Facebook video call scams and WhatsApp video call scams, I think that should not be a problem usually guys don't mind showing upper body part.

Personally I would say what you said I don't do shirtless too , too risky world out there right and I ain't giving any females any coz I am done in that section

If a guy who workouts and I like his body that he already has shown in his pic. And if we talk and he asks me to send me one of mine since I work out a little too. I won't mind sending him one just as a measure of comparison

Your best bet would be to do one of two methods. Either build him up by letting him know you think he is sexy to you and say you were curious to know what he looked like without a shirt or in a pair of trunks. This way you are direct via planting thoughts of interest in him.

Then you have the more direct but respectful way of asking something like "How do you feel about not having a shirt in? Can I see what you look like if you are comfortable with that?" Obviously more blatant, but at least you are showing a level of respect and boundaries for him with the question.

"I really like your body shape and I'd love to see more of you! Please can you send me a picture with your shirt off? I'd really like that"
