Guys, If a guy who has been flirting with you, implies we should travel together?

This guy I work with has been quite flirty lately, mostly heavy staring and locking eyes with a smile. We were talking about places we travelled to and he recently visited one of my home countries. He told me he wanted to visit more of the country and I told him I’ll happily give him suggestions on where to go. And then he said “or you could join”. I was amazed at how blunt that was! Do you think it’s his way of asking me out? Or he’s just looking to get laid?

So today I asked if he wanted to hang out this weekend. He said sure, and said a few people from work are going to this event and we could join then. I was so confused. I thought he would taken a hint that it means spending time with me and not others. Or is he just not interested?
