this guy I've known for a year now is really shy and we started getting closer over summer and some people say he likes me anyways a few days ago I was crying and he sat with me until my dad picked me up and even said to text him when I get home and then yesterday I asked him to hang out, since we were both on campus and had our break, he replied super late at night that he just saw it and his texting style was kinda weird (not dry tho). I'm confused and think I'm stupid cuz I believed everyone when they said its obvious he likes me.

It’s crazy to me that you’ve involved several other people in your crush on him and they all know, yet you can be direct and ask him yourself how he feels. To me that’s just saying if you’re too scared to make a move on your own, then just keep your crush on him from afar. The way you’re going about it now is just childish. No offense.
