Guy was showing attraction towards me when I was dressed down or plain… always looking and near.

I only dressed up because it was my birthday. I wore nothing weird just a sundress with daisies and a hat. Nothing odd or inappropriate

when I came into the room my friend called my name and said I looked cute. He looked and smiled then looked down. But then his energy just changed like he was trying to not look.. it was strange.

is that rejection or? But we can’t really be together anyway bc of work rules

I still don't think you fully understand the overall situation you are in. Why would he risk his job and likely his career for you? He cannot be openly flirting (or covertly flirting) with one of his students, AT ALL. Even the perception he is doing so could get him fired. That is why I think you are projecting and seeing things a certain way because you want them to be true. You want them to be true because you are interested (which you finally admitted after I twisted your arm two dozen times) Do you get what I'm saying?
