Why did my friend say this?

I usually get rides from one of my guy friends and I asked him if he can give me a ride on Friday and he said he has football practice so just ask Cody.

Cody was this guy I hooked up with previously but I don’t even talk to him so why did my friend say to ask him for a ride?

I texted my friend back saying “and why would I ask cody LOL” and he never responded. I don't know what made him bring him up. It’s not like I’m dating Cody or anything

Sounds like he still has some jealousy left to deal with. It's an ugly emotion but I think every body has their own chance of suffering from it

OOps well I nailed that one. I don't know. Some people try to get a lot of mileage out of perceived slights. I'm sure I've done it and I'm sure I wasn't very proud of it.
