Why did he say this to my friend?

I was out with a male friend of mine and we ran into one of his buddies. He looked at us and then went to my friend saying “You said you deserve her.” randomly. He didn’t say anything and wouldn’t give me an answer when I asked about it after we left.

Why would he tell me that my friend said he “deserves” me? And then he looked guilty on top of that too

Well typically when someone says "you deserve here"... its in a sarcastic tone he is really saying your not good enough for him. If he is said it a normal or good tone... then he is saying your are good enough... some times they say "she's more than you deserve which means he is not good enough for you"

So the whole thing about is friend saying' You said you deserver her" is confusing, was it a question to your guy friend? Because if he was asking a question then it could literally means either you are good enough, you are not good enough, or he is way out of league because he is way better or worse for you.

Or it could mean that your guy friend said to his friend at some point that he really believes he deserves you.

What is odd is that he will not elaborate so that is more creepy to me than what was actually meant... implies something bad right?

He could probably be teasing him about it, it was out of nowhere he was telling me what my friend said

Yeah this whole he said, to his friend to to me, or his freind told me what he said to him... sounds like stupid teenager drama to me.
