Why would a woman hide her feelings for a guy? Same reason. As for signs to look out for; just the basic interest signs.

Because thier know utility in sharing feelings with a women. Women are judgmental at best and manipulative at worst. If a woman knows your feelings there's a high probability she'll just use them against you. You NEVER let a woman know what you're really thinking.
