Why does a guy hide his feelings?

I am very attached to my crush and I see he likes me for real and I noticed that after I ingore him as I was chasing him for a while.. but he deny it that he likes me and say about me bad words and at the same time he wants me to make sure that he likes me but in silly way sometimes and sexually way sometimes and at the same time he acts he doesn't care at all, he knows I know he likes me cause he makes it clear by his behaviours but he think I ingore him to make him jealous.. I look at all boys expect him and then he look at me for minutes and look at guy I was looking at and when he tires to make me look at him I look away quickly as what he does with me the same with girls! , We just makes eye contact and he likes it or we ingore each other and he tires to make eye contact sometimes ( I am very attached to him really and from now months he doesn't make any move with me and I never see him but he is in my mind all the day I can't make him out, if I forget him some days and this feeling end, suddenly I come misses him and cry) why does he hide his feelings from me? Why he doesn't send me a follow request or talk with me If he misses me too?

That’s what we are scared of. That’s why it is like pulling teeth 🦷 to get guy to talk. We’re physical then emotional and most women are opposite 🤷🏻‍♂️
