How do guys view guys who are unattractive as opposed to gals?

I'm kinda curious because I've ever been able to get along with any guy since I could remember

But it was always other dudes who took issues with me even though I was the "ugly" guy

I posed no "threat" to them of any sort

It was the same for me but with other girls.


I later found out it was because I was friends with the boys who they had crushes on.

Well, most guys that guys would probably find unattractive I think are good-looking.
