It seems he has trust issues. Do you share where you are going in a casual manner? Going shopping with the girls, thinking about purchasing... This style of communication go far to lessen trust issues...

If you are bar hopping or have males friends then that needs to change. All guys know if a woman is hanging out with a "guy friend" it is because she is/was attracted to him in some way. We do not hang out with people who repulse us in some manner. Poor judgment yields supervision... Texting when together with friend does nothing to lessen trust issue.
