Guys, Do you believe in astrology? why or why not?

Astrology is a very complex subject which is reduced to very basic things in many newspapers/magazines etc etc. Most people are only aware of their 'Sun sign' when their birth astrology covers the Sun, the Moon, the planets and plenty of asteroids too.

There's definitely an element of truth to astrology, but it is on the level of tendencies rather than absolutes. It's more statistical, saying for example that those with plenty of Scorpio present tend across a population to be more intense, brooding, fixated on sex than those with plenty of Gemini present.

I never considered astrology at all until I was in my mid 30s, when I bought a book about it and did some study of it. I did a retrospective look at my first 35 years to see if astrology said anything relevant about what had actually happened and, actually, for me, it did.

That of course is Western astrology and there is a Chinese equivalent which is quite different. Once again, Chinese astrology suggested I would be a misfit in the family I was born into and this was true.

If you want to judge the truth or otherwise of astrology, I advise you to study it in quite some detail. It's impossible to give a truthful answer based on cursory glances or what you read in newspapers/magazines.

I agree it's an interesting subject, it can be used as a starting point to predict people's personalities, or to confirm certain characteristics, so I think people should at least be open to the opportunity to gain insight, and not just tune people out the moment they mention the word astrology

Yes absolutely! Another personality base I followed for quite a while is MBTI, or 16 personalities. That was quite interesting to see how they functioned and how they are seen in day to day life. There's quite a bit of Insight on there platforms so the opportunity is definitely there as you said. 👍

There is a great possiblity that your mood to how or why we behave in certain ways for no apparent reason and don't forget about the correlation between the ancient civilizations of the past who knew that the stars and planets in the sky at night have a lot to do with the way people of time were behaving in a unusual ways. And yet we as a race of humans are still questioning whether or not. Take it from a person who has been living with the oldest civilization alive ( Australia tribal aborigine) that there is a real correlation between us and what the planets and stars are doing and why we behave in certain a manner which is why they have been recording these type of things for a very long time through history longer than any other race alive (scientifically proven) in today's time.

For the simple reason that use are using objects to judge, predict, and anchor a Human Being’s, who can think, Life Decisions. It is fundamentally flawed as one is worshipping and applying laws of the creaturely to the highest form of creation with soul, mind, and body. I can not think of anything more foolish than Astrology.
