From vulgar to polite! Why would he change the way he texts her?

Why would a man change the way he talks to a woman (supposed to be his friend)? There is a guy who used to make inappropriate jokes with me but now he seems to text very politely compared to the way he used to. Even though he's never offended me with his jokes or the way he used to talk but now he talks boring and polite. We are not in a relationship; I can say we're just friends. I wonder why he changed.

There could be so many reasons. Maybe it’s boredom, moved on or even someone else has his attention, who knows. Any comments here are just theories and assumptions, but none of it is fact and that’s because he’s not the one telling you what’s up. So I think the best bet would be asking him specifically, or if you don’t want to then let it go and move on.
