Yes. We are completely fucking clueless about it.

Even dumber is that you all think because YOU find us attractive other women do as well, while ignoring the fact that even if this were true most women don’t approach men and ask them out. How would we ever know that other women find us attractive? Because some girl played with her hair once when she said hello in the hall in passing?

Besides, most guys feel completely invisible around women. Even when we are in relationships. This is why guys act so surprised when a woman actually says we are handsome or cute or attractive or whatever. We don’t get compliments. Like ever. Ever.

So when a woman likes us it really is legitimately surprising.

We never get compliments, never get approached, and somehow we’re supposed to know you get wet at the thought of us?

Others have said it before, but we’re not mind readers. I have literally had a woman stick her hands down my pants or knock on my door for a one night stand before I had any idea of her attraction.

There are a few good looking guys that know that they're good looking, and they usually are the asshole type. Most other guys are so used to being the ones that have to make the compliments and do the chasing, but they may not realize that they're good looking.

Yeah some can lol. Happens with girls too but less often cause they usually have other girls (and guys) telling them “Oh you’re so pretty” and guys don’t have that as much.

I don't consider myself particularly good looking. I was shocked to hear my wife's best friend tell her she wished she'd met me first.

I have female friends who have guys they drool over that are decidedly atypical in appearance.

Generally we're totally ignorant.
