I agree as well, can’t understand how these people saying even though they cheated on their partner they only love them and are in love with them still and only saw it as lust/temptation. It just doesn’t sit right, also people saying it’s human nature for a man to want to mate with several women because that’s their job and natural instinct so they can’t possibly stay loyal to one woman. It's not just about love... it's also about being sexually satisfied and emotionally fulfilled. I've never cheated, but I have been in a relationship with a woman I loved but who didn't make me happy. I was never completely content with her and it took me a long time to realize I never would be. I never cheated, but some guys would have in my situation.

Sure, that's a fair question. She was a selfish lover who used sex as a tool. I never felt we were on the same level in terms of sexual needs and satisfaction. I would so anything for her but she would only do things I wanted occasionally and then tried to make it seem like I was lucky I got anything at all. She was a proud feminist and had a chip on her shoulder about men, and I was a man (obviously). It was a lot of subtle things, and some not so subtle. I guess in short I never felt like she fully gave herself to me the way I did her and I realized that was never going to change because she was who she was. I'm so glad I left her because my wife is amazing and I am truly happy and content with her.

To be clear, I don't condone cheating. I just wanted to say that there are reasons for being unhappy or unsatisfied in a relationship even when you love your partner.

I totally understand you! That is actually indeed a very understandable reason, I actually can relate to that but I also still don’t cheat regardless. I actually salute you for not having cheated on her!! Shows how much of a great and well raised person you are with morals, I respect that a lot! Some people can be in love with some and still cheat on them.. it's usually because the person they are with is lacking something the other person needs so they get it else where. Or sometimes the person they cheat with is hotter then the person they are with and they just want to fuck the hotter person.

Oh i see, but isn’t that kind of wrong that you find someone “hotter then” your partner? If you’re really in love that person is pretty much the most attractive/beautiful/hot person to you out of everyone. at least that’s what I naturally feel when i’m in love no matter who I see my partner just stays the best looking in my eyes.. so what you’re saying kind of contradicts itself, then you’re not really that in love with them no? 😅

Not everyone thinks like you do. I've had girls cheat on my and I asked why their answer was " he was so hot I had too". Then when I broke up with them they bald and cried telling me how much they loved me and all that.. everyone thinks differently.
