Why would a guy ask me why I want kids?

I told him that I don’t want them and he asked why and what the reason was and if it had to do with a traumatic event that I went through.

I suppose that he just wanted to know your reasons! Seems like reasonable conversation to me. Maybe the traumatic event part might have been a little much. Did you answer his question?

He asked me about if it was to do with a traumatic even and I just froze a bit. Yes, I did. I said that I don’t want kids.

What was interesting was that he searched up about endometriosis and he knows that I have that.

Most guys couldn’t care less about women problems. But he, like me, like to learn about different things. Or things that I don’t know about.. Apparently he really cares about you and wants to know what he might be dealing with in the future. If you two were to become intimate.
I am guessing that you might have some discomfort at certain times and he might have wanted to know why. As long as he keeps your health issues to himself. I don’t understand why it bothers you so much!

I was being honest with him. I told him that I don’t want kids and I don’t know why he asked me. Usually, only people that are interested in being serious ask those questions. He is a lot older than me and of course I’m going to get uncomfortable. We were talking about things that have happened in our past because he even asked me questions about my past. I was being brutally honest with him. I said that it will be hard for me to get pregnant in general because I have endometriosis and not only that, but I also told him that I am very cautious with who wants to get intimate with me in general even if it is a hug because I nearly got raped by someone that claimed they wanted to be in a committed relationship with me.

I also told him that kids are a HUGE responsibility and he also has 4 of his own, I’m pretty sure.

Let say that I know that your condition can be very painful at times. If things were to decide to move around. Things could get very bad for you. It would be best if anyone that you would become intimate with would understand your issue. I notice that you are a very private person and not everyone needs to know all things.
You don’t know me and you have told me more than I bet you have told most people. But, then I like to learn new things. Being with some GF’s that would discuss anything. I guess made me that way about a woman’s body.
This man should have had the brains to stop talking and asking about him when it was upsetting you!
I feel for you on your issues and your past experience. But sometimes you really need to get things out in the open when you feel comfortable with that person.
