Why does a guy talk to every other girl but always stare at one girl he won’t to and avoids?

this guy talks SO easily with other girls but when it comes to me he always stares at me when I’m not looking and when I’m with my friends and sometimes glances at me but when I look at him he looks away and he waits for me to leave the room or sprints fast and scratches the back of his head when staring at me

is he uninterested and just trying to avoid me it might be possible

i also heard that if a guy wnated to talk to you he would :/

Cause he likes you and he’s too shy to talk to you cause you’re the one girl he likes. The others he doesn’t care about that much.
