Why does a guy ignore me at a party but talks to every other girl?

so recently I went overseas to visit my friend, and she introduced me to all her friends, including this really goodlooking guy. so far we've only met at small gatherings (of at most 9 people) and a party (usually less than 20 people) for an entire total of 4 times. the weird thing is that he just totally ignores my existence, he talks to every other girl except me. but once in a while I catch him looking at my direction, but then again he might be looking something behind me so I'm not sure. also, my friend and her other friends have told me that he's actually a very charming guy, and that he's very outgoing and friendly. but it just seems to me that every time I'm there, he's quiet and he doesn't smile much. and every time I try to at least edge my way near him to talk to him, he just goes off in the other direction. am I that repulsive? sigh.

Ok he is ignoring you because he wants YOU to approach him. He's basically trying to look cool like he doesn't care about you, I 99% guarantee you this is the case. So you have two options 1. you can approach him, and complement him maybe even call him cute or 2. Flirt with another guy in front of him, so he can see what he's missing out on ;). If that doesn't work he's either gay, or probably has never been laid. I think your best option is 2 though just because it would make feel like an idiot haha.

nope, before I went there, I saw his photo on my friend's facebook and I asked her who he was because he was amazing. and she said "ok I'll introduce you to him when you come". so when she introduced him to me, I was nervous as hell, and right after he was introduced to me, he just immediately went the other way. in fact I like him less because he ignored me. but I'm just wondering why he's ignoring me etc

Maybe he feels nervous around you too so he's "running away" to save himself the trouble... Idk... But don't talk to him again and ignore him as if he's part of the wall and see if he'll sing a different tune.

He could be gaming you or he just truly doesn't care about you. You will never know because even if he truly doesn't care he may still f*** if you let him and if he is gaming you he obviously wants to f*** you as well.

yeah I asked my friend if he was shy, and she and her other friends laughed it off and said he's the most charming guy on the planet and have never been shy around a girl. so yeah. pfft

sneak attack haha, I really think you should just talk to him, then you will know what it is about you he finds undesirable...or even better, he might just be to shy to talk to u. cause personally I'm a super confident guy, but as soon as "that girl" comes in, I get super nervous haha
