Guys does “he is fighting feelings” make sense, or is a silly cliché made by girls?

In my humble opinion, a cop out statement. Fighting what "feelings"? Are you kidding me? As any lady will tell you, those "feelings" are known within minutes of meeting a guy. If a guy is fighting his feelings, he is non committed to go any further and in my opinion will be stringing you a long until he determines if you are better than what he always has or exploring.

When one of my friends say ‘he’s just fighting his feelings’ I always think it’s a bit delusional and silly. But some men do run away from there feelings if there scared of commitment
