Why is the guy I like acting cold towards me over this situation?

Kind of a long story but I was talking to this guy for months that I liked and I thought things were serious as I met his family and everything. On vacation I asked him "what are we" and he freaked out and said nothing, that we weren't together no relationship. We came back to school and he stopped messaging me for a couples days. We had an event to go to and he brought another girl as his date. I got upset and drank to the point of near blackout. His "friend" walked me to my room and attempted to take advantage of me. We did not hook up but the friend and the guy I liked claimed that we did. Now the guy that I was talking to is mad at me, gave me the silent treatment for a week, and I had to barge into his room and yell at him about what actually happened. He apologized about the situation and I made him cry. However I am confused why he was mad at me for HIS friend attempting to take advantage of me and the fact he told me NO RELATIONSHIP. So since then, the "relationship" between us has still been bad. A week after that conversation we kissed but ever since he still acts hot and cold towards me. He hasn't tried to fully make up with me and he's already having sex with a bunch of other girls which I'm so offended by. Sometimes he's flirty with me other times he ignores me. I'm offended by the behavior and feel like crap. Recently, his friend admitted to me that he was intentionally trying to get in between my relationship with his friend because he wanted me... it's so messed up. I still see the guy I like because we're in the same social circle but I am so beyond hurt and don't know if I should do anything or just hurt and move on? I've just never experienced this in my life.
