Our fight was really him just trying to come at me for being "obsessive" and him making me seem like I was the bad person in that situation. He involved his female friend and a co worker we both know. We both have no prior experience with a friends with benefits relationship, but he definitely was making it seem like it was more a relationship then a friends with benefits situation.

Looks like he was just ending things between you two formally, and giving you an explanation as to why. The alternative would be for him to ghost with no explanation, and to me that would’ve left you even more confused with no closure and if not feeling hurt then at least bothered. Even if you disagree with his opinion of you being clingy or whatever, it’s his experience and sometimes it’s hard seeing yourself from someone else’s POV, so let him have his opinion.

I'll get my explanation when we talk from what he said. All I'm seeing is him saying I need a "break" for awhile then I'll be back to talk to you kinda thing. I know how he operates and is someone who has a big heart and is caring but other then that, we definitely do need to have a face to face conversation in general and see where we stand with each other indefinite.

I did see the part about having an in person conversation so hopefully that brings more clarity. My thoughts are only based on this screenshot and what he’s saying. It could’ve been him speaking off of a certain emotion or whatever but yeah.
