I don't know the guy, but I'd guess a combination of the status that comes with always being with attractive women and openly flouting the society that's constantly telling him to "grow up" when what it actually means is "give up, and do what we say". I mean, yes, biology being what it is, female attractiveness starts fading when they're still relatively young, but there's a helluva lot more to being an appealing partner than just looking good. And unless he's dating some kind of temporal master, he's going to quickly lose the chance of forming a deep, memory-filled relationship with someone, since they'll age out of consideration. Then again, Hollywood relationships don't exactly have a good track record for lasting a lifetime, do they?

The funny thing about it is that he is, to be blunt, Leonardo Di Caprio, a man most famous for a movie in which he plays a character who strikes up a fling with a woman who ends her days reflecting not on her children or the husband she spent decades with, but some random poor guy who spent a couple of days with her when she was young. Many of the women who hold this as tremendously romantic are the same people who complain about Leo only dating younger women. I can easily see how that kind of reception would warp your perception of what dating and romance are like.
