Girls, what should a man do if trying to walk past a group of girls?

Like if there’s enough girls next to each other to cover the width of the sidewalk/hallway/etcetera. They would be going the direction that the man is, so if no one stops moving forward there would be a collision. Could you see this happening? What would you suggest?

Walk a little bit faster. Pull your phone out. Look busy on it. Once you get within an arm’s length, glance up and say, Excuse me. Swivel to the side and slide between them as they part. Return to your normal pace.
