Why do women put up with this childish behaviour?

This girl from Reddit (which I am sure is the same one I've posted about) talks about her boyfriend. He worked a 10am to 5pm shift after coming off work late the night before. She said he had about 5 hours sleep.

Anyways she mentions he came home and she asked him to cuddle, he does so and falls asleep. About 2 hours later he starts screaming at her saying why she didn't wake him. He is acting like a toddler now.

A bunch more ridiculous things happen like arguments about dinner, the got into an argument about a game called sex chess? Screaming at her saying her wasn't going to buy it just he was LOOKING AT IT!

And she goes on to say that she couldn't find the rope that they use to let the dogs in and out of the bedroom and she asked him where it is and he just blanked her and played his computer.

Why do women put up with this childish behaviour?

Low self esteem. The kind of environment they were raised in. Her father treated her mother similar if not worse, so she thinks it's normal.

If he's not treating her like that and finds a great guy that's normal, she won't see it as normal. She's used to the toxicity of how she was raised and she looks for that either purposely or not.

It's all she knows. Her attachment style as a kid has something to do with it as well. When you've been with a person for a certain amount of time, it's hard to leave considering all the time and effort you put into the relationship.

It's also just easier to stay even if you are miserable. I know people like us who are outside that relationship find it crazy because we don't have the same insecurities or mental disorders like her. We can see through it.

But we all have our things, things we overlook that are obvious red flags when dating someone. There is a lot of psychological stuff going on. Why she is staying and enduring that.

I hope she's ok though and I hope she gets the strength to leave.

I used to have this friend who was dating this guy like that. Actually I think they're still dating. But he'll order her to make him food and if she doesn't respond right away he'll scream in her face to go make him food.

As a result, making her cry and then he would laugh and make fun of her for crying and he would call her weak and pathetic but still force her to make him food.

I remember like trying to convince her to leave him. But she wouldn't because she has no where else to live. I offered my place and she still didn't want to.

Her personality got really bad where I guess she was taking all her anger out on me. She was trying to pressure me to drink with her because of how miserable she was. Like they say misery likes company.

The friendship was just ruined and I took a stand against how she was treating me and then we just never texted each other ever again. That was a while ago. But I hope that doesn't happen to this girl.

For someone to admit To themselves that they are wrong and easy to think they are right , it’s always easier to put fingers at someone else when things don’t go their way, people Tend to assume the worst case scenario when someone else is acting childish or angry and upset , instead of communicating with that person they just assume it’s about them , Most people carry a lot of stress , work, finances, bills life in general can be overwhelming and sadly it’s easier

I don’t know this relationship but people are so unwilling to battle and grow in their relationships. As a hardcore gamer who knows many others, I can confirm thats a load of bs. it's a hobby, not an addiction, and it does not result in job loss (or other disatvantages).

Also porn doesn't cause people to not value sex or partners, porn makes people crave having a partner, and couples often watch porn together to get ideas for spicing up the bedroom time.

This is just like that phase the jocks and soccer moms of society went through where they claimed video games caused violence lol.

To be honest, I wish most of society would go back to hating gaming, so that video games stopped getting watered down in quality to "apeal to a wider audience" (ie making them boringly easy because most people suck at games).

You do not stop finding a person attractive just because you have seen other attractive people, that is not how attraction works. Also thats not how viewing porn works, its not hypnosis or a thrill seeking thing, its a genital maintinence thing.

People watch porn to get off, or to figure out what they like. When in a relationship, porn viewing drops substantially, because the "to get off" part you have your SO for, and your SO is what you like, and she is an interactive (and thus superior) version of porn, that also offers comfort, touch, affection, rest, and other needs and luxuries during the act that porn does not.

Heavy porn users that are in relationships, are either couples looking up new kinks to try out with eachother, or one of the people in the couple has a way higher sex drive, and if you won't get them off, they will watch porn. Wheres you might see it as porn addiction, I see it as they chose the wrong partner.

For example, a gamer should only pick another gamer, because non gamers are boring people who are lacking in imagination, creativity, and skill, and aren't going to be good as a hobby buddy.

No matter what your favorite hobbies are, your SO has to love doing all of them too, or its the wrong person (yet another reason an SO is superior to porn). Hobbies are what define you as a person, they are your mind expressed, if your hobbies are different, most of your time will be apart, and you will lose out on something very precious (a real mental bond, where you agree on just about everything, true compatibility).
