Is he interested in me?

There’s this guy I really like. We’re at different unis but in the same program. The first time we talked was when I texted to mention we were nearby. He then texted me a year later. I think we both realized at some point we follow a lot of the same accounts bc we’re into the same thing. Anyway shortly thereafter the program was having an event and we met for the first time. He applauded me on being smart and we chatted and hung out.
Afterwards I told him that I thought he looked handsome at the event and he said thanks. We send each other resources and we exchanged numbers today in case we ever want to chat outside instagram. He takes long to reply though so I don't know. He also doesn’t look at my stories or like my posts.
Is he interested in me?
