A girl would likely do the same. Think about it, let's say girl attracted to guy but then realized, "you know what, if this guy likes me, I can probably do even better". Then guy quickly starts getting attention, before you do, and suddenly you think, damn, maybe I screwed up and shouldn't have left

Yeah… when he was showing signs I got nervous and gave off not interested signs..

Like once at work.. we had a meeting and he said “ I finally get to come over to you, how are you?” He stood right by me and looked at my face with a smile. I freaked outttt childishly …. I stepped away from him and said I’m good really incoherently and awkward..
