My boyfriend doesn't call me by my name, I don't know, during the conversation he can't say my name. And through messages he calls me love, but when he sees me, he doesn't call. Being that he acts like a fool and with a face in love. Is he awkward and embarrassed to be more affectionate?

I'd say there is a pretty good chance he's shy and embarrassed. Cause I do that too. Is it stupid? Yes. Can I help it? Nope. 😅 some people are just awkward like that.

In a strange subconscious way saying someones name feels direct and confrontational. I know its not rational but hey, like I said, some people are just a little weird.

Maybe call him out and put him on the spot. But like in a flirty teasing way. He'll probably get all flustered. I sure would.
