There's probably tons of reasons and none of them have anything to do with you. That said, if you're asking the question never a bad opportunity for some self reflection. Is there anything you did that might cause him to not respect you? BUT... the answer is probably no, you're not doing anything. (My point was that self reflection is always a good thing.) It's probably them. They might just be clueless. They might be generally disrespectful. They might have a different set of definitions for disrespect. They be trying to hide that they like you by being disrespectful. I don't know how bold you're feeling, but this might be a great ice breaker/conversation starter with them: "Hey. These things you do are really disrespectful. I want to understand it. What's up?"

It's possibly because he's disrespectful, and lacks morals, some people just naturally are, for no reason. Unless you've given him a good reason not to, it's best if you find someone else who is genuinely "worthy" of your attention and/or "love".
