We are students… my friend is from out of state across the country. He was sick for 3 weeks and running fevers on and off… I convinced him to go back to the doctor after he ran his 3rd fever in three weeks. After getting the results of the blood test, the doctor said he needed imaging ASAP. I told him he needed to go to the ER but he was hesitant. I convinced his buddy to go check in on him and his buddy ultimately decided to bring him to the ER. I met them there and waited in the waiting area for 5 hours while his buddy just left and went home. I drove him home after the evaluation (he’s ok don’t worry). The next day I sent him postmates breakfast and brought him a big “get well soon” bag full of treats and medicine. He’s feeling better now.
He said thank you but now he’s gone kinda awkward and shy. Did I do the wrong thing?
