Ok so we had an assignment in class and we had the option to get married for this project. As soon as the teacher announced it, his friends said [my name] and him should get married. He laughed and had a huge smile on his face. I didn't say anything and he says "[friend 1] &[friend 2] said we should get married what do you think?" I replied with "yes I heard I'm right here" and I said some dumb excuse because I got embarrassed... I hate being put on the spot. I said something about it being expensive or something... and he said "but if we get married we'll put our money together". I got more embarrassed and said "if we get married they have to get married" his friends were 2 guys... he looked like he forced himself to laugh but he looked disappointed..

I was so embarrassed and made a fool of myself. Do you think he liked me though?

What was your scenario like and how did she react?

Well, the teacher said if Zara and I got married in front of the whole class would I want her to be stay at home or a career oriented person. Everyone laughed because everyone knew I had a crush on her. I had told her a couple of years back I liked her prior to this incident and she said she loves someone else and can't think of marrying me. I said alright and she and her friends used to make fun of me.
So, again this time everyone laughed at the scenario as they thought it is like mixing oil and water.
And last year she married and her parents spent 10,000 USD on Just the photoshoot. Which is a lot even by American standards and about the cost of an apartment. I knew she was bossy and her parents rich but not that much 🙄.
I suppose she was going to be high maintenance in the end. Farewell to her ))

On another occasion he reacted badly when my friend said he should date my other friend. You could see the anger on his face. He didn't even look towards them when they said that. Ngl I was pretty happy with his reaction 🤣

sure, the boy likes you, hence why his friends were teasing him about you - they know he has a crush on you. This should be obvious given the context of which they were teasing him about - marriage, or whatever the fuck it was lol, it pertains to how he feels about you and the prospect of him being in a relationship with you

The thing is, that kid is probably never going to tell you directly - so my advice to you would be to just feel good and try to go about your days anxiety-free because you hold the cards

Also, this is just conjecture but, if you're attractive, there's a solid chance his friends might like you too - at the very least you know they want to get your attention
