Staring when talking?

i hanged out for the first time with this guy I've been talking with very recently. It wasn't a date because weve just met but it wasn't friendly platonic stuff either; I do feel like we are flirting and there's tension.

Whenever I talked he stared really deeply, softly smiling. He looked like he was really taking in everything i said. he didn't do this throughout the WHOLE afternoon, but did it a lot and I could tell apart the difference. I usually avoid eye contact, but when I noticed i tried to look at him as well whenever he talked. My normal guy friends dont do this. Sure, they smile and look at me but its completely different! Is he interested in me?

Yes, he is interested in you and you should be really cautious.

When talking normally with each other, people tend to look initially quickly in the eyes to grab the attention of the opposite person and then the look moves around and does not remain concentrated on the eyes.

By remaining fixed and intense, the look seems to be piercing you through and besides making you uncomfortable, it also signifies that the person that pierce the victim with his/her eyes wants to grab the full attention of the victim. It is almost like a hypnotizing attempt.

Better keep a certain distance with this guy as it seems that he is into trying to get more than just your attention. This could be a definite no go and a warning.

100% yes, this is because he is interested in you. There is no question about it. THAT is what a guy who is interested looks like (some of the time) while she is speaking.

He IS 'really taking in everything you said"... because what you're saying is IMPORTANT to him (because he likes you. A lot) 🙂
