Is it true that when a/my man says he prefers you/me to look "natural" he means this?

Trending & News It's very common, and I'm included. As long it's short and trimmed, and she has nice breasts and other feminine features, I don't even mind some arm pit hair. Natural is definitely better. Some mascara or something is no big deal, but I don't feel like I'm looking at the girl I like or love when there is too much makeup. Huge false eyelashes are even worse since I can't even see/look into her eyes for a conversation!
Add to that how much I loathe when a girl has gorgeous natural freckles but covers them up with makeup. Frustrating and sad. Or like one girl I talked to for a while who has gorgeous brown eyes but always wears blue contacts to hide them. Be who you are, inside and out. Don't hide it: accentuate it. That's why men lovr anything that ACCENTUATES the beauty of women, not hiding their "flaws." We love dresses, halter tops, bikinis, etc. because they accentuate the female form. Mascara and eyeliner can be cool because they make female eyes more noticeable and match her outfit/hair. But those stupid fake eyelashes are counterproductive, and hair extensions aren't great either, because they try make up for a perceived flaw that doesn't exist. That applies to breast implants and other cosmetic procedures even more so.
I think what he means is that you not cake yourself in makeup to the point that he is worried about swallowing enough chemicals to make himself sick if he kisses you.
I know that for me, fear of chemical contamination is a huge motivating factor in rejecting large doses of makeup and lipstick.
When I combine my flesh with some woman's flesh, I don't want that union polluted with a bunch of brand name unholy additives.
Fancy logos in metallic gold cursive lettering are to grown women what cartoon characters with huge eyeballs staring downward on a cereal box are to toddlers. Granted, some men are easily suckered in by putting camo on everything, but at least the only way that lure poisons you is if you eat questionable beef jerky.
I wanna taste lips and mouth roof, not strange chemicals! With no fear of residue! And while I'm not super strict on mouth hygiene, I prefer her gums not taste like Cheeze-It crackers. That... implies issues.
But if you wanna shave your legs, go for it. I'm not strict, but I prefer to not date a sasquatch.
Vibrating saddle. I was babysitting her kids while she went out for the first time with her husband after giving birth, I was being noisey looking through her room and some of her things when I saw it hidden in a plan brown box. I decided to pull it out and take a look for no reason other than I was bored. It had dildo attachments but I just turned it on without it and straddled it, felt really good and I came on it quickly and hard just sitting on it still wearing my leggings and thong which were completely soacked around the crotch. I had to put a bedroom dressing gown on and put my clothes in the wash and checked on the kids. I knew my sister wouldn't be back until late so while I waited for my clothes to wash I had a few goes on this sex toy this time with the dildo attachments and omg. I sent my boyfriend a random snapchat of it because he had just got off work and told him how good it was and a week later despite the expense he bought me the same one and made me use it while watched and then had me suck him off while I climaxed for the 5th time as he was cumming too.
Men are just as varied as women. Some like this, others like that. If the man says he likes you more natural than made up, take his word for it and just wear a little lipstick when you feel like looking more dressed up. Some men go for hairy legs too.
There''s no accounting for tastes. There are outliers and more traditional guys. Listen to what your man says. Unless it offends you to do so, try to please your partner. Don't shave your legs in the winter when you wear slacks and it's cold and no one sees your legs but him. When it's summer, bring the razor back out so you don't look like your hairy counterpart in shorts!
One thing about men, if they like a woman, they're fairly tolerant about idiosyncracies. At the nail salon on Christmas eye, a woman had practically furry legs when her pants were pushed up so she could soak her feet. Yet she was there to get her toes and fingers done! Everyone's unique.
I barely shave my legs in the winter, as it is.. 😂
And don't really shave my under arms all that often.. (once a week) When I asked him about my legs today.. (because I show him these things) what he thought, he said "this isn't long, this is natural.. I've been with women who look like a man, this is fine" 😂😍❤️

Only he can define the terminology he uses. Ask him to describe how he'd ideally like to see you. If he's vague, seek clarification. You can also ask him to prepare you for a night out or go clothes shopping together and let him choose what he'd like you to try on. If at all possible, go with his preference and see the impact it has on you and him, even if it's just for special occasions. Guys tend to be less likely to want their partner to wear a mask. They also like to be able to run their fingers through her hair or kiss her without makeup rubbing off on him. It's no fun to be with someone who is untouchable.
Usually, it just means he really dislikes too much makeup to be honest.
It depends on the context I guess. But unless a guy specifically says something about preferring hairy legs and armpits, or something else... just take it to mean "I really don't like it when you wear too much makeup. I think you look best with minimal or no makeup." That's almost always what a guy is talking about.
So it's not 'just a line'. But you do need to use a bit of common sense to know what he is likely saying. Another example... he does not mean 'natural' as it, "stop taking showers' or 'stop wearing deodorant.' Usually though, it's about the makeup.
Just depends on the man. Now if someone really loves you and is serious I mean. Nobody is perfect you know. It is good to have good personal hygiene and take good care of yourself.
But I mean you’re free to do what you want. If you’re willing to love a man and deal with gross things he does then. I mean… It kind of does without saying he should be returning the favor.
But. If you like makeup and everything wear it and if you don’t then don’t. This is up to you. Be yourself. Don’t change who you are to be accepted and don’t expect someone to change for you.
If it’s not meant to be it won’t be…. If someone doesn’t accept you for who you are. They’re not the right for you. Doesn’t even mean he’s bad. It’s just not you.
The same as if you aren’t into a guy for who he is. Don’t try to change him. Let him go so you can both find someone to be happy with.
Wish you the best and hope you had a great Christmas and a great New Year too!
Absolutely YES.
Women often underestimate the level of attraction men have towards their natural state, including no makeup and no shaving. Guys I know often react with a certain level of disbelief why would women go through tedious procedures of "improving" their looks. Some say women do makeup, shaving etc mostly for other women.
For me personally the basic level of female grooming requires:
1. being clean (but no need for 3 showers a day if you are not a miner)
2. nails should not be broken/bitten, no need to paint them
And that's all, I don't object to makeup, it makes no difference. My personal preference - no shaving at all, and I mean really nothing. If a girl really wants to shave, let her shave - but all my partners were relieved and excited as soon as they internalized that I truly prefer no shaving.
Umm I think it's entirely possible but you shouldn't do anything for someone else. If you feel the most like yourself wearing make up, wear makeup! If you feel better natural, be natural. Don't do anything for anybody else, do what makes you happy, not what make everyone else happy 😊. Anyways slay girl boss queen love ya
Absolutely agree. Including identify what YOU really want, not what the society and porn industry might make you believe you want. And when you are sure, just do it!
Also might be a huge surprise: most guys don't want a painted plastic and hairless barbie doll, so you don't NEED to be one to be attractive ;) But once again, always do what suits you best.
Usually men only mean no make up and no surgeries, but I can accept female body hair.

Oh it's definitely some men's preferences. Doesn't mean you have to do what they ask. If you want to wear makeup and shave then you should do so. Personally I prefer a woman that doesn't wear makeup or if she does very little. I would rather see her natural beauty. Makeup can cover up a world of hurt. My personal preference on grooming, trimmed shaved or full bush, I just would prefer that her lips are trimmed or shaved. Not a big fan of hairy legs or armpits
Yes, Absolutely! When I first met my Wife and we started dating and going out to the bar or dinner in my head I would say "She's got a bit to much makeup on" well it didn't take me long yo tell her that she Looks much more Attractive without the makeup. She didn't believe me but I kept on telling her and it's been several years now and she doesn't ware makeup or if she does it's very little :)
To be honest I don't like hairy legs and did not attractive too, but I do like pussy hair with stylish design and well groomed, because I like she not wear underwear with skirt and dress especially in public, thankfully my girlfriend is my choice of girl, never shy going out commando.
He could mean what he says you know him better than us. I would say you should only put an asterisk on it if it was said because you were using not shaving or whatever it may be as a reason for not wanting to be intimate or spending time together. He may not prefer it but prefers it over the alternative of not getting that time he wants.
Definitely ask. It has a different thing for different men. Some just apply that word to pubic hair. Others only to make up. Some to the whole body. I would, however, seriously doubt he means not shaving your legs or armpits, etc.
Yes, I think he does, because I do.
I don't care about make-up.
I don't care about complex hairstyles. Keep it simple.
Don't bother enhancing your breasts with surgery or foam reinforcements. I want to see what you have even if you are as flat as Kansas.
Minimal grooming of pubic hair and armpits, please.
No piercing please, other than ears.
Don't bother with elaborate nails.
I will love you just as you are.
Most men definitely prefer natural women, and by that I mean a woman who doesn't look like a plastic mannequin, with heavy makeup, fake eyelashes, tattooed eyebrows, puffed up lips, fake boobs, fake nails, fake hair color, etc. All of that is such a turn off.
The only exception is body hair. We definitely prefer your legs, armpits and snooch to be smooth and hair free.
Agree with the part about not being a mannequin 100%.
Disagree about the body hair. I can't say about the whole society, but guys I know who are around my age mostly prefer natural pubic hair, about 2/3 either prefer or don't care about legs and armpits. Sure if a girl had legs literally as hairy as a gorilla, the preference (including mine) might change, fortunately even the most hairy female homo sapiens doesn't even come close to a gorilla ;)
@tiamatx And what planet do you live on? Here on Earth, the guy our age who prefers a woman with pubic hair is the rare weirdo.
@tiamatx In what galaxy is planet Brussels, and how far is it from planet Earth?
Thats what my man means by natural. No makeup, shaving, or doing any extreme beauty standards
With natural they mean shaved, peeled and all that stuff and make up wise the no make up make up look, what they don't realize is make up but looks freshly "natural"
They don't mean natural in the sense of real natural lol
I prefer when make up is less or more subtle or has that "more natural look"
For me, natural means don't overdo the makeup and the perfume. Do what the lady likes but don't overdo it.
They just mean where makeup is concerned. But if they met you wearing makeup as you normally wear it, they then can’t start bleating about preferring you to be more natural looking. Your face. Do what you want with it!
No personal issue if my girlfriend decided to stop shaving, she doesn't always wear makeup and she dresses for comfort i. e. jeans and t-shirt. I love her for who she is not how she looks.
Hey there merry Christmas. To answer your question, there is nothing weird with keeping it natural. Like I'm a girl and i don't shave my legs, i never do makeovers ever but it doesn't make me less attractive. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I think he just appreciates that side of you where he can see you as you are. Embrace the woman in you.😉
She doesn’t always have to wear makeup it’s up to her, but of course she needs to shave her legs
i think it mostly refers to the face, like makeup wise, they probably still prefer shaved bodies maybe?
I think he just means he likes how you look even if you're not done up 😅
Yes, he want's to see you because he loves/likes you. We do get tired of seeing all these women looking like Kim K wannabes.
You better find out exactly what he means by this. It rarely extends to things like not shaving your legs.
Yes that's exactly what it mean but when I say natural I mean make up I don't want my girl to have hairy leg or a big ass bush on her vigina that shit is disgusting and you as a woman should want to groom yourself no matter what
I didn't say you want I was just giving you some insight as to what guys mean when they say that cause different guys mean different things
I think you're right, less makeup and just regular you. The shaved legs is different story though. I think women should regularly shave their legs.
i think so. not that make up ans hair are not nice. but for everyday, just natural younis nice
if your going to wear shorts or a skirt stubble is ok but not hairy guy legs 😊
I think that means without excessive make up and with hairy parts shaved.
All natural as in no makeup. Doesn’t mean don’t shave your legs or let your mustache or beard grown. Lol
You know exactly what it means. Saying it means not shaving your legs makes you sound like a petulant child.
Many of us love au natural
that's how i prefer the ladies...
I had a girlfriend who ONLY wore lipgloss!
I prefer shaved underarms and legs, but natural bush!
MMMMM LOVELY!
When I say it I mean only makeup.
