Poll: do men recognise natural beauty vs fake beauty?

Question

I believe I have a naturally beautiful face. I don't fake tan and I'm not a gym rat. Though I exercise and eat well.

I often wonder, do men even know the difference between natural beauty and fake?

I see many girls with fake tan, hair extensions, fake boobs, nails, lashes etc and men jump! ...yet if some girls took that away , you wouldn't look twice.

Is it true that some men value package image over natural beauty? I so, I guess I'm happy to be left out of that clan. I think it's crap

I think if it looks good, it looks good. There is a large fallacy that most women who use "fake" beauty aids are really ugly underneath. Most good looking feminine girls enjoy beauty related things so they do stuff like hair extensions, dyes, nails, etc. That doesn't mean that if they didn't get their nails done or add some clip ins that they would be ugly. They are already cute and take care of themselves, they just like the extra stuff. I don't think guys really care. A pretty girl with natural/no makeup (as long as she has decent skin underneath) and her hair pulled back is still pretty. Some girls have swag and others don't.

idk too many women with plastic surgery though. most girls get weave, nails and lashes. they're still beautiful. fake stuff won't turn a nickle into a dime. chances are, the sexy girl with weave and makeup will still be very pretty when she takes it out and washes her face. a lot of natural looking girls barely groom and don't take care of themselves, thus they don't look as feminine and wonder why guys over look them.

Some girls need to stop hating and getting mad that obviously more attractive girls will get more male attention. Either join the club or work on your personality or start buying guys gifts lol

I think it's partially because of the effort that the man sees in the woman that does all that fake shit. Now, there is a limit and most guys I know KNOW that limit well. But when you see someone who Just walks around in sweatpants a ponytail and no make up, it can look sloppy or lazy. Especially if you are naturally pretty. Like "She's so pretty if she'd just spruce up a bit she'd be a knock out"

Now, this isn't always the case, some men see it and appreciate it. But honestly, they don't know you or your story. So your lack of cosmetic improvements can appear like lack of caring in they're eyes. They don't know your motive for going without.

I don't get it either. Some of those girls look ridiculous, and look like they can't sipe their ass without getting some...thing under their nails. And they look so high maintenance. And here I sit, thinking guys don't like high-maintenance girls... And think about why a girl has to put all those fake stuff on her. Strip her off all the fake stuff... What kind of person do you think she is? What kind of self esteem would she have? I'm just wondering why someone has to wear all those things that require lots of money and time and effort.

But then again, these fake girls... they mostly run around with guys who look like douche bags.

Some men can and some men can't. I working in lighting for motion picture for a long time and a lot of my work involved trying to make actors with plastic surgery look more natural. Makeup artists did most of the work, but they often needed my help too. I notice it immediately if they've had a chin tuck, eye lift, tummy tuck (people gain weight unnaturally after lipo and can look lumpy even through their clothes), etc.

The only plastic surgery that I can never tell whether or not its been done is a nose job if its been done correctly. Otherwise, I always notice and it always looks unnatural to me, never beautiful. Because beauty is created by the impression of health - physical, mental, emotional; its hard to fake health.

I can also usually tell when a woman has dyed her hair because there are some shades that don't occur naturally with certain skin tones. It might look great at first if done in a salon by a skilled colorists, until the person tans a bit or the dye fades a bit in the sun. Then the colors don't match and just looks (& feel) "off."

I honestly don't get the whole "natural beauty is better than fake beauty" thought. Women ALL wear make up, push up bras, high heels, dye their hair... As long as she looks pretty to me, I couldn't car eless how much effort it took. I find a lot of the time women are just jealous and claim that they too "could look like that". Well, why don't you? Envy doesn't look pretty ladies.

Everyone has their preferences. What one guy finds attractive another can find repulsive or annoying. As an example let's look at what I consider fake beauty, the Kardashians/Jenners, more specifically Kim and Kylie. While yes they have very pretty faces, I find their butt implants a huge turn off. They have diaper butts, but many of my buddies think it's sexy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Another thing I find very unattractive is fake eyelashes and caked on makeup or anything that looks artificial. ARGHH anytime I see those stupid long lashes I want to just rip them out lmao!

Thankfully my wife wears no make up at all, I mean nothing and I love her for it. The only thing she does is paint her nails lol. When I look at women like Kim/Kylie or even a woman like Nicki Minaj I feel bad that they felt the need to change their butts to feel better about themselves. I would imagine they would be so beautiful with their natural bodies. They WERE beautiful, when I look at their photos from before all the changes, they were so lovely.

But lets get one thing clear, it's not men who are making young women and girls want to look like super models, it's the media. My buddies are pervs and would "bang" any of the ladies I mentioned with or without those implants lol. That goes for pretty much any guy out there, yes most guys want you to "clean up" some or "get pretty" when it's date night. But you don't gotta be walking around 24/7 in 10lbs of that stuff on your face that looks like drywall mud lol, just throw on some light makeup and something "sexy" and you're all set.

Now if you're chasing the millionaire/billionaire who isn't interested in marriage and can get any skank who is seduced by his cash, then ya, better save up for the plastic surgery and cake on that makeup. Good luck!

Easily, put it this way a naturally beautiful girl looks great regardless of that stuff... I mean I don't know a girl who doesn't wear any makeup, but obviously less is better. At the same time you can still tell if a girl is attractive or not no matter how much she wears, I mean makeup is only there for blemishes, it doesn't change your face. I don't really like hair extensions and I actually like girls with shorter hair, again extensions are very common. As for eyebrows I hate girls who do too much with them, especially in terms of drawing them on, same goes for nails... I don't mind a girl being neat and wanting to do a little something for herself but too much is off-putting. As for fake boobs, whether you mean push up bras or actual implants I don't like them, I'm not even a fan of natural big boobs though...

Most women think that if a guy prefers an "enhanced" woman it's because they don't notice they aren't "naturally beauty". The truth is, one has to be blind not to notice, it's just that some people prefer "enhanced" women to "natural women", that's all. The same some people find tattoos and/or piercings hot and some people find them disgusting, some people love women artificially tanned, dyed hair, fake boobs, strong make up... the whole package. You're assuming one is superior to the other when it's actually a matter of taste, and there's no accounting for tastes.

That's a tough question. While I do desire natural beauty I do like and am attracted to women who go the extra mile and take good care and pride in herself. If she wears makeup to highlight herself I think it's fine. I'm not into fake eyelashes, boobs, tan and that, but my only hang up I have is that I have a thing for hands and beautiful nails and I don't care if they are fake professionally done. I love the way that they look and bring out a woman's hands. It tells me a lot about her and that she takes pride in herself. It's sexy, elegant, professional looking and shows she's confident. Plus I love to hold hands and how they feel feminine. I don't like guy hands or chewed nails, or short and unpainted nails. So the only fake beauty I love is nails. Sorry I'm weird like that lol.

I'd say the majority of guys re victims of the media and think fake girls they see there are what they should look for.

But a lot of guys are NOT into media glamor and will stay far away from fake nails, lashes, etc. So I'd advise going in the natural direction, all the same.

Guys are easily charmed with fake boobs and such... I know most say they prefer natural but when they have it before them they think with their lower heads and go for what's bigger in size irrelevant to if it's fake or natural.   Whatever that may be, ass, boobs, hair, face etc...   they can sing all they want that they prefer natural but they can't control themselves when fake fixed beauty is before them.

It could be the same thing as the "jerk" stigma where fake tanned, false eyelash, boob job women are obviously looking for a mate and so are cocky jerks going after any lady. I don't know.

ill take natural beauty anyday! Yes I will immediately notice that girl that's all spoofed up but when I notice how much make up she has on, pushup bra, sparkly jeans... I'm not interested anymore.   I will always go for that girl that puts on nice jeans, a little eyeliner, and can go from looking great to muddy in 5 second flat and still looks pretty

I notice some times for sure with hair color because fake hair color doesn't match the skin tone. As for eye lashes, tans, piercing or tattoos, that's all superficial and me personally, I like natural hair color, ear piercing is perfectly fine, body piercing that's out, tattoos they are completely disgusting. I hate fake boobs, fake lashes, and fake tans (and I can spot them very well).  I don't mind fake nails for special occasions if the girl doesn't want to maintain long nails for every day life, but I don't particularly like long nails anyway.

I was watching a YouTube video of some women in Brazil a few minutes ago.  They were in a beauty pageant.  It looked like their faces, breasts, and butts had been pumped full of silicone.  Women like that are not sexy to me.
