Jealousy has nothing to do with the other person. It's merely a statement of a person's insecurities... feeling inadequate to offer the other person what they believe the person wants or deserves or what they'd like to give, or feeling inadequate to acquire what the other person has acquired.
What do you hope to gain by pushing people's buttons in this manner? It doesn't prove anything about his feelings toward you and will never lead to an improved relationship. If anything, the person you want to be jealous will pull back and be more cautious... feeling a need to protect his feelings from your insensitivity. If you want a meaningful relationship, always prioritize making sure your partner feels safe, secure and special.
Jealous "over" her. As in wants her for himself, and hating when other guys approach her. Definitely!
@Curiosity2006 As I stated, though he may be drawn to her, any feelings of jealousy he expresses will have more to do with his own self-doubt than any declaration of her worth to him.
