Why did he randomly stop talking to me?

this guy i like is in track with me. when i didn't like him, i remember we would talk casually whenever we would be in a group or something practicing, stuff like that. then we had our first track meet outside and after that i slowly started having feelings for him. but ever since then something has changed.. i dont remember if he talked to me first or i did but we just dont talk anymore and i feel like everyone during practice talks to me except for him. like i could be talking to everyone and it would be so noticeably obvious he's the only one not talking. the guys in practice would make a joke towards me and he wouldn't join in and would look like he is not even listening when he is. another thing is that whenever we would talk to the coach he used to always engage and reply and so would i and everyone else but now he just stays more quiet for some reason? what did i do wrong.. it seems like he hates me.

I don't know he would get quiet and kinda awkward than usual when he's with other people. like you can tell a sudden change from when he was just over there with other guys or our coach but when he's nearby me its always the opposite. he doesn't even act like this with my friend either and im immediately confused. thats why its so hard to talk to him now more than before. like if i were to say something with our group he would be dead silent and let other people chime in instead but he would look at me.. even with jokes i said before and he usually jokes a lot
