Why is it that my ex boyfriend seems back offish at times? but but at the same time I’ve noticed that he has been watching my Instagram story?

Basically my ex boyfriend that I have been broken up with every since may of last year or months ago seems to come off as back offish at certain times and sort of hot and cold as well for example months ago he had no problems hugging me and even kissing me but now if I ask for just a regular hug he comes off as back offish but I don’t know why he also used to unblock me and block me on Instagram constantly and now that he has unblocked me for about 2 months now he tends to watch my Instagram story but not every day he does it every now and then this makes the 4th time I’ve caught him in my views on Instagram even though we both don’t follow each other last month he even admitted to being under my highlights and watching my highlights and being on my page but he doesn’t like any of my posts or videos he just watches my stories every now and then his actions are a little confusing to me he was even watching my story when he was in a relationship with another female that he isn’t with any more

I get frustrated sometimes, I blocked her when I was in a bad mood. I unblocked her when I was thinking about her.
In your case, I am sorry he cheated on you. I think he wants you back badly. He is a man, he is frustrated. It's upto both of you, start talking again, clear misunderstandings or move on.

I think that’s probably what made my ex keep constantly unblocking and blocking me him getting mad but then him thinking about me and I also found out he never cheated the female who said it actually was lying all of that had happened before I had even came in the picture so I apologized to him for accusing him of cheating on me so he said that he appreciated my apology and that he was going to work on forgiving me I’m not really sure why he’s confused or if he has mixed feelings or what and we are young I’m finna be 19 next month and he’s finna be 18 next month but we did have a huge misunderstanding

We broke up due to me accusing him of cheating and due to a few issues in our relationship due to his actions at the time but I’ve apologized to him about it but I had valid reason to believe why he was cheating on me at the time

The female who tried to say that he was trying to so called have sexual relations with was telling a big ass lie because she was jealous of me and his relationship including my own family but I found out the actual truth and that happened months before I came in the picture plus she never showed me any type of proof or evidence or facts that he tried to do any of that when we were dating so he blocked her on social mafia after finding out what she had been saying and plus I’ve heard that this is something that she repeatedly dies with other peoples relationships

Okay that seems to make sense a little bit much better because we broke up back in may and basically even after we broke up he was still kissing and hugging on me and then in August he tried to come on to me and was touching up on me and stuff and then basically after that he ended up dating a new female around October but they broke up last month but he would always kiss me or hug me and all and he was also watching my story on Instagram even when he was dating his recent girl that he’s no longer with any more so yeah he would watch my story from time to time but not all the time like for example he admitted last month to watching my highlights and being under my page and the way he said it was kind of weird in a since but he was also in my views last week as well so yeah he does it from time to time or every now and then but it’s not a every day thing but he is very sort of back offish like I said which leaves me lost and confused about how he feels and about him as well

Can you explain if you don’t mind? Like as in what makes you think he hasn’t completely gotten over me yet? Mind you me and him have been broken up every since early may do it’s about 10 or 11 months or so but I think he still might be hurt or so I’m not sure because he’s not the type to express himself or how he feels but I did go out my way to literally send him about 3 long ass paragraphs to apologize to him for accusing him of cheating with no proof
