Umm... it's pretty true... I'm a very highly accomplished guy and I've found that the women I connect best with are also highly accomplished, so I care about women's education and career in the sense that those things are indicative of other personality traits that I find desirable.

I don't care about the monetary or supportive aspects of women's career and education though. I make enough money that I can afford to think that way.

I think it depends on the guy. Generally speaking I would say it´s more important than it´s generally talked about since many of my guy friends probably would say they don´t care about that but most of them chose women that have a similar education than themselves.
For me personally it is important out of curiosity but also because in my experience a person´s education also says something about their lifestyle.

It's a good bonus if my girlfriend is someone successful and accomplished or at least aspires to be. I don't want her to just sit home all day and be a housewife. I would rather see my girlfriend occupy herself with something she likes.

i don't care about her education, but i also don't want to try to talk to an idiot. if she's smart then she's in. i've dated some younger girls and i felt like a parent trying to teach them so it was awful. maturity and education definitely play a role in dating

They care in the sense that they probably want her to have some type of goals but probably not to the extent of hoping she has a career that pays a lot. Depending on how much the guy makes he may care less but still wants her to have something going on. People say they dont care but you have to care a little depending on what kind of lifestyle you want.

So like if your career or education is something cool (something we are interested in ourselves), then it matters a lot, because its a point of common interest and thats good. But your income and college degrees don't matter for dating, and education on topics we aren't interested in doesn't matter for dating either.

Ideally having everything in common hobby and interest wise is what matters, that and looks.

I think most men don't care about such thing if they like a woman and desire to be with her, nevertheless, highly educated men with good careers typically date and marry other highly educated women with good careers because that's what they are surrounded by.

You will hardly see a male doctor dating or married to a woman who works at a gas station.

It's not that we don't care. We simply don't judge a woman harshly by her income or education.

I know people who make minimum wage and people who are millionaires. I know people with high school education and with doctorates. NEITHER determines the value of a person.

I left a nice woman because she changed her universital careeer one year before she had her diploma. And she studies another topic and still is not ready.
