Why Does my Ex keep looking at my ig stories but is hiding his?

My ex boyfriend from a few months ago keeps looking at my story every time I posted because I seen his username at the bottom of my views but I noticed that after watching his story yesterday earlier he ended up hiding his story from me because I no longer see his story or his highlights but I see his posts and followers and his videos on his page I don’t feel like he’s necessarily hiding anything.

I think that he’s hiding his story because he wants to make it a control thing on his end because a few days ago when I watched his story he didn’t hide it or do anything even a few weeks ago when we both was watching each other story he didn’t hide it so I feel like he’s making it a control thing or he’s being quite childish and even if he does have a girlfriend he shouldn’t be watching my story in the first place

What’s weird is that we just had a conversation yesterday and I think after that he literally hid his stories from me but I still have access to his photos and videos and posts but not his highlights or stories

Because honestly no one uses his name or be on his Instagram but only him because we were texting yesterday about something that had happened pertaining to one of my family members and I noticed that he had watched my story all of them yesterday or basically a few hours ago and I’m just like why do you feel obligated to keep watching my stories but wants to hide yours

I honestly don’t know what it is with him honestly and it’s not a ig that I make money off of it might be a shady thing within him because what’s the point of watching my stories but is hiding yours or restricting me from watching them when I’ve watched them plenty of times plus it’s no point of hiding anything cause we not even together 😂 my friends who follow him and who are cordial with him told ne that hey watched his story and that he didn’t post anything at all pertaining to me or nothing shady or disrespectful so I’m just like okay sooo I still don’t get why hide his story

Maybe he feels you are not a part of whatever he posted and just feel like he's attempting to just get over you and him all and all. Sometimes when one wants to get away from it's good to clear the past and start all over with something that takes his mind off of the past

I don’t think that’s the case because he just went through a break up last month with his recent ex girlfriend and even when he was dating her he never hid his story from me and he doesn’t even post his business on social media especially his dating life or who he’s dating that’s why I’m confused on why’s he now doing this because he feels obligated to keep watching my story but wants to hide his for whatever reason

Maybe so but my thing is I don’t really have an issue with him looking at my story the issue and the confusion and weirdness is the fact that yesterday we had a conversation that didn’t go bad we had a decent discussion on Instagram about something pertaining to one of my family members that did something to him and by the way me and him don’t barely talk to each other but my thing is I noticed that he had watched my story before and even after we had a conversation on Instagram about our conversation so it’s weird how I check my views and he’s at the bottom of them but decided to hide his story from me so I asked one of my friends who still follows him did he post something shady or something towards me in a since that made him hide his stories from me and she showed me his stories and he didn’t post anything shady or say anything about me or towards me he just posted his YouTube videos that he did and posted something about one of his friends but that was it
