Why does he hides and unhides his stories from me?

This guy and I were casually dating. Slept twice but live in different countries. I stopped watching his stories to move on but he kept on viewing mine. Lately I noticed that since I stopped watching them, he has started hiding and unhiding his stories from me. I found it odd but didn't pay attention. In our last conversation he said he missed me and wish we could meet. He still views my stories while hiding his from me, then unhides me the next day only to hide then again. He always expected me to do the chasing but at some point got tired and started meeting other people. He was sweet and caring but don't get these mind games lately. I guess he expected to be there regardless if he would leave me on read occasionally since I used to do all the initiating. When I decided to withdraw completely its like he took a strike on his ego (many times he would copy my stories and traits of my personality to impress me right after I was posting stg and would always get excited when I would send a reaction like validating him and that pushed him to post more similar stuff to mine, many times he would post places from the country he is living which is my home country because I always used to. comment on how much I missed my home place).

Possibly shy or unsure of his actions. But if your commiting more he is isn't then move on thats ur answer
