Guys, if a girl is saying you can leave or stay and there's no drama why would you not just be honest?

He was acting distant so I gave him some time, hoping when he was ready he would address it, but he didn't. So, I asked him if had a change of mind about us. I made it very clear that if he no longer wanted anything to do with us, I respect that, and if something else was going on and he had to focus his attention on that, I understand that too. I just didn't want to feel like i was walking on the ice trying to talk to him. I gave him both options and told him he could do whatever and I wouldn't ask for an explanation, I just wanted to be aware. He literally didn't answer the question and instead told me he can't talk rn and said don't worry. I dont get why this needs to be pulled along. Am i asking for too much? I'm okay with whatever he decides.

Why don’t you write ✍️ on paper list of expectations that pertain to this situation? And everything including goals of dating etc for you. And, mail one and hand deliver envelope on his door.

Mature communication NOT say it all emotional like a woman wants…. Data only is man style.

No follow up in 5 days then draw ✍️ the line. We’re too set in our ways or different. I’m not going to try to be happy all the time and begging for what I need. No touching from then on. Scheduling of time for discussion etc

If his distance is too stressful or anxiety inducing, then stop waiting for him to end things (assuming he even wants to break up) and do it yourself. Unless you just didn’t mention it in your statement, then it sounds like you didn’t even talk to him about your feelings and instead jumped to giving him an ultimatum, which is super toxic in my opinion. You don’t have to put him in the position to make the hard choice you don’t have the strength to do yourself, it’s unfair. If you don’t want to break up then get busy or distracted so you aren’t dwelling on his actions and maybe whatever is going will pass. But there’s no guarantee to this, so what happens next is up to you. Invest more time or let him go? Make your choice and stand on it.
